Losing an amazing supporter

This January, my mother-in-law passed away after a challenging battle with cancer. Sue was a strong, smart, impressive woman. I was very lucky to have her in my life. We also shared many interests together such as our love of sewing and knitting.

Both of us recently started a little project, knitting hats for newborns for the Ottawa General Hospital. Before her passing she asked me to take her yarn and to continue knitting the little hats, so this is what I’ve been busy doing as of late.

I’ll also be working on a fundraising project with more information on that coming in the next while. The aim of the project is to give dignity to those in the hospital and in long term care while raising funds to Lung Cancer Canada in honour of Sue.
