Don’t get us wrong, we like Canadian spring and summer but fall and winter is where our heart is at.

Located in Russell, Ontario, Canada Winter Co. is all about making cozy, Canadian style, clothing and housewares.

Every item sold is handmade by me, Christine.

What inspires me: The feel of a warm blanket, cozy socks, the taste of a hot drinks, the sound of crisp leaves or crunching snow under my boots and the thought of a frozen lake-side view with a warm fire on a crisp Ontario day. Brrr…and ahhh…

Outside of knitting, sewing and my daytime work in communications, my love and obsession is focused on Ballus and my partner Geoff. Ballus is a sweet, loving, blind, senior dog we adopted in 2021 from Ottawa Dog Rescue. He’s practically my business partner, always there with me while I’m busy creating.

Oh, and Geoff runs his own painting business! What kind of partner would I be if I didn’t plug his business a little too!
